Artist Statement
Through artist books and collectible photographic works, Natalia V. Garmashova explores photography as a living trace of encounter - moments between what is and what is becoming memory.
At the heart of her practice lies a question: What happens to things that are already vanishing while we are still looking at them?
Biography
Natalia V. Garmashova is a photographer and artist bookmaker living and working in Saudi Arabia.
She received an MFA in Photography with distinction from Ulster University Belfast School of Art.
