There are moments when the world in front of us stops being entirely what it is.
A road, a light, a shape in the distance - something familiar appears in a place where it should not be. We recognize it before we understand what we are recognizing.
The Space Within began in that uncertainty.
The photographs follow the point where looking becomes remembering, and where the distance between a place and ourselves becomes difficult to measure.
Perhaps we carry more of the places we have lived than we realize.
